Read before using these numbers

South Carolina lists BCBA and BCaBA modifiers but pays both the same on every code. There is no BCaBA discount and no separate technician rate.
The fee schedule prints no time unit. The 15-minute unit comes from the ASD Services Provider Manual, cited separately above.
97154 and 97158 are the same service split by who delivers it — RBT $9.10, BCBA $13.00.
The manual allows a unit to be billed at eight minutes or more, so a unit is not always a full 15 minutes of contact.
