Read before using these numbers

This page has been wrong twice and is now right. In July 2026 we published $15.37 as Florida's 97153 rate; $15.37 is 97155 with modifier HN, the assistant-analyst rate for protocol modification. Correcting that, we then published $12.19 — which is 97152, 0362T and 0373T, not 97153. The correct figure, on both the 2025 and the 2026 schedule, is $12.26. Every row above has now been read twice from the 2026 PDF by two different extraction methods.
Florida changed no ABA rate between 2025 and 2026. We compared the two published schedules in full: every dollar figure, modifier and service limit is identical, and only the header and layout differ. The effective date above moves to 1 January 2026 because that is the current schedule, not because anything was repriced.
Florida prints the time unit on the schedule itself — every row reads 'per 15 minutes' — so no companion document is needed.
Two rows are priced at zero on purpose. 97153 XP and 97155 XP cover a supervisee working under concurrent supervision and are marked 'Not reimbursed' by the agency, with the supervisor billing the ordinary code instead. That is a billing rule, not a rate of zero dollars.
Group rates fall as the group grows. 97154 runs from $7.58 for two clients down to $5.58 for six, and 97158 from $9.58 down to $7.58, set by modifiers UN through US. Quoting a bare group code will misstate what is paid.
Florida pays one rate for 97153 regardless of who delivers it — the schedule states it covers a Registered Behavior Technician, a BCaBA or a Lead Analyst alike. That is unusual; most states that tier this code pay the technician least.
97157 does not appear on the schedule. Florida publishes no fee-for-service rate for multiple-family group guidance.
The agency's note on the schedule: only one practitioner's services are reimbursable when more than one delivers concurrently, unless the overlap is medically necessary, prior authorized and written into the approved behavior plan.
These are fee-for-service rates. Most Florida Medicaid recipients are enrolled in Statewide Medicaid Managed Care plans whose behavior analysis rates are set by contract and are not public.
